On April 30, 2021, the Bankruptcy Liquidation and Restructuring Department of Hangtianxinsuo held a meeting to discuss and exchange experiences on the first quarter of 2021. Lawyer Wang Hongyao, director of the Bankruptcy Liquidation and Restructuring Department, presided over the meeting, which was attended by seven members of the department.
At the meeting, members summarized their work in the first quarter of 2021, reviewed their work, discussed legal issues, and put forward many substantial suggestions for themselves and the department. After listening to the reports and sharing from the members, Director Lawyer Wang Hongyao summarized the work performance of the department members in the first quarter, analyzed the main problems currently facing the department, and put forward the following targeted work suggestions:
1. Establish a weekly meeting system
The weekly meeting for the department is scheduled for Monday mornings at 9:30. At the meeting, members will summarize the previous week's work, plan the next week's arrangements, and communicate and exchange information on any problems encountered.
2. Legal issue learning and exchange system
A special learning and exchange system will be established for practical bankruptcy law issues encountered by members in their work. Members can discuss legal issues encountered in their work irregularly in the department's group or share them at weekly meetings. Tentative learning topics include "Determination and handling of the nature of overdue completion liquidated damages", "Handling of debt-for-equity swaps in real estate projects", "Determination and handling of property maintenance fund issues in bankruptcy cases", and "Research on the issue of off-site construction fees for air raid shelters".
3. Centralized review system for meeting materials
A centralized review system has been established for the creditor's meeting materials for each project of the department in the future. The person in charge of the specific case will be responsible, and a meeting will be held to discuss and verify each item, ensuring the accuracy of the legal application of the creditor's meeting materials and the operability of the actual work.
