On the afternoon of August 21, the Gongshu District Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Gongshu District Legal Society, and the District Government held a symposium with chief legal consulting experts. Xu Jianyong, executive vice president of the District Legal Society, presided over the meeting. Wang Yiming, executive deputy secretary of the District Committee of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee and executive vice president of the District Legal Society, presented appointment letters to ten chief legal consulting experts. The experts were requested to focus on their duties, subordinate themselves to the overall situation, act as good advisors and assistants, and provide professional support and legal backing for major decisions made by the Party committee and government. They are expected to play a positive role in assisting Gongshu District's social governance, resolving conflicts and disputes, maintaining harmony and stability, and promoting the construction of a safe and law-abiding Gongshu.
