On the morning of August 16, the Supervisory Law and Commission of the Changshu District People's Congress Standing Committee and the Hangzhou Tianxin Law Firm's grassroots legislation contact point held a symposium to solicit opinions on the "Draft Regulations of the Standing Committee of the People's Congresses at All Levels of Zhejiang Province on the Filing and Review of Normative Documents" (hereinafter referred to as the Draft). Those in attendance included Huang Zhaowu, Director of the Working Committee; Chen Bo, Deputy Director; Zhang Jiangqiang, Deputy Director of the Letters and Visits Office; Yu Yuehai, person in charge of the Hangzhou Tianxin Law Firm's grassroots legislation contact point; Wang Hongyao, senior partner of Hangzhou Tianxin Law Firm; Fang Nongsheng, Zhuge Junyan, Liao Siyu, and Xu Maodi, members of the legislation point working team; and personnel responsible for the filing and review of normative documents from the Changshu District Government Office, District Supervisory Committee, District Court, District Procuratorate, District Justice Bureau, Changqing Street, and Mishichang Street. Director Huang Zhaowu presided over the meeting.
Participants engaged in extensive and enthusiastic discussions surrounding the draft, offering numerous opinions and suggestions.
The District Supervisory Law and Commission Working Committee expressed satisfaction with the results of the meeting. Attendees were requested to continue carefully studying the draft and submit further revisions before August 20 to improve the draft.
