On August 5, 2017, the CCP branch of Zhejiang Hangtianxin Law Firm, at the invitation of Zancheng Meishu Property Management, conducted legal publicity in the residential community regarding high-altitude throwing of objects and uncivilized dog-keeping behaviors. Six Party member lawyers from Hangtianxin, including Wang Zhiming, Feng Li, Kong Chunfeng, Yan Wenjing, and Liu Chengyu, went deep into the community to publicize the relevant legal knowledge and responsibilities behind these uncivilized phenomena, and answered related legal questions for the residents.
Before entering the community, the Party member lawyers had prepared materials on relevant laws, regulations, and cases, and made brochures using simple and easy-to-understand text and vivid pictures to ensure that every resident who received a brochure would have a new understanding of the dangers of high-altitude throwing of objects and how to keep dogs civilly.
As a place where everyone lives, the details of a residential community directly affect the living experience and happiness of each resident. High-altitude throwing of objects—sometimes a small action can affect a person's entire life. By explaining the relevant provisions of the Tort Liability Law, the Party member lawyers made everyone aware that the actions of their neighbors might involve them in legal disputes as defendants and make them bear legal responsibilities. Therefore, uncivilized behaviors of neighbors should be stopped and reasonably advised against in a timely manner; at the same time, the Party member lawyers also warned residents that sometimes the act of high-altitude throwing of objects not only leads to civil liability but may also constitute a criminal offense.
