To enhance the pertinence and timeliness of legal publicity and education, further improve the legal awareness of detainees in detention centers, and effectively prevent detainees from re-offending, Wang Hui, a lawyer from the Legal Aid Work Station of Hangzhou Detention Center, gave a legal publicity lecture on June 30, 2023, at the Hangzhou Detention Center, themed "Legal Issues Behind Fans Entering the Stadium."

During the event, Lawyer Wang Hui started with the recent hot topic of "fans rushing onto the field to hug Messi," analyzing the administrative penalties behind the incident in light of the characteristics of the detainees. She also explained the differences between administrative penalties and criminal penalties, and introduced major administrative offenses and criminal offenses to the detainees using specific cases and legal articles. At the same time, she encouraged detainees to maintain a positive attitude, actively reform, avoid repeating past mistakes, and face the future positively.

This legal publicity lecture was the second such event held by the Legal Aid Work Station's lecture team of Hangzhou Detention Center this year. The lecture team will continue to provide better legal services to detainees through continuous legal publicity.
