On the morning of May 6th, Gongshu District Deaf Association and Hangzhou Hangtianxin Public Legal Service Center signed a cooperation agreement, jointly launching a public welfare action for barrier-free legal services.

This activity is an attempt to provide more comprehensive and high-quality services for deaf people. For a long time, people with disabilities often lack the ability to protect their rights and interests when facing conflicts and disputes, especially when facing professional problems such as law, it is difficult to get timely and effective help. Through the signing of a cooperation agreement, Hangzhou Hangtianxin Public Legal Service Center will send professional lawyers to provide the Deaf Association and its members with public welfare services such as legal consultation, lectures and training, legal checkups, and legal aid, and jointly participate in rights protection matters to serve and help the deaf community.

Shen Chen, vice chairman of Gongshu District Federation of the Disabled, the chairman of the Deaf Association, and the person in charge of Hangzhou Hangtianxin Public Legal Service Center attended the event. After the signing ceremony, lawyers provided legal consultation and answers to deaf friends who needed it on issues such as infringement liability and contract disputes.

This cooperation will last for one year, and will be extended to other associations and groups in the future, gradually expanding the coverage and influence of the barrier-free legal service public welfare action.
