Hangtianxin Law Firm and Zhejiang Shuren University jointly built a "University Students' Legal Education Base"

On the afternoon of May 13th, the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held a "Bringing the Law to Campus - Law and the New Youth of the New Era" event in 2019. The event was grandly held at Zhejiang Shuren University. The event was hosted by the Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, and co-organized by the Provincial Public Security Department, Provincial Department of Justice, Provincial Court, Provincial People's Procuratorate, and the Provincial Lawyers Association. Leaders including Sun Jingmiao, Vice Chairman and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Committee of the CPPCC; Shang Qing, Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Committee of the CPPCC and Director of the Committee for Social and Legal Affairs; Chen Sanlian, Secretary-General of the Provincial Lawyers Association; and Zhang Qing, Party Secretary of Shuren University, attended the event. Although the weather was not ideal, with a light drizzle, the rain did not dampen everyone's enthusiasm, and many teachers and students participated in the event under umbrellas.

The event began with warm-up performances that captured the audience's attention: Shuren Pioneer Camp military calisthenics and "Strength and Beauty" aerobics performances by Shuren University students, and special police close-quarters combat and police dog demonstrations by the Provincial Public Security Department. These performances laid a solid foundation for the official event.

Following the warm-up performances, the main event commenced. Zhejiang Shuren University, Zhejiang Hangtianxin Law Firm, and Zhejiang Wulian Law Firm jointly established a "University Legal Education Base." Zhang Qing, Party Secretary of Shuren University, presented plaques to Yu Yuehai, director of Hangtianxin, and Zhou Qingyi, director of Wulian.

Outdoor activities were in full swing, and the Shuren University library was equally bustling. Various displays and interactive services, including legal consultations, displays of illegal cases, legal knowledge promotion, displays of police equipment, and drug exhibitions for educational purposes, various displays were surrounded by students. Lawyer He Qiang from Hangtianxin provided legal consultations to teachers and students of Shuren University.
