Since its establishment, the Xin Yi Branch Committee of the Hangzhou Tianxin Law Firm of the Communist Party of China has attached great importance to Party building, especially to the theoretical study of Party members who are lawyers. Regular study sessions cover fundamental Party theories and policies. The branch also emphasizes leveraging the professional skills of its members to carry out various public welfare activities. Each lawyer-member is made aware of their responsibility as legal professionals to contribute to societal development and use their expertise to give back to the community.

I. All branch members voluntarily joined the Hangzhou Tianxin Public Legal Service Center to provide free services.

In April 2017, the Hangzhou Tianxin Public Legal Service Center was legally established. In March of this year, it won the "2016 China's First Legal Profession Public Welfare List" Best Public Welfare Innovation Award. All lawyer members of the Xin Yi branch of Hangzhou Tianxin Law Firm joined the center as volunteers, becoming a group of volunteer lawyers for the center. In the first half of this year, volunteer lawyers from the branch formed a legal service team to provide legal assistance to numerous underpaid workers from many internet housekeeping and financial platforms in Gongshu District, helping to resolve conflicts and disputes. The wage issues of the underpaid workers were properly resolved, effectively maintaining social stability. The Party secretary and director of the Provincial Department of Justice attached great importance to this and even made a special trip to Hangzhou Tianxin Law Firm to investigate the legal service work of internet finance, fully affirming the achievements of the Hangzhou Tianxin Public Legal Service Center in handling this incident.

II. Branch members actively carry out legal education activities to help more people understand, know, and abide by the law.

Branch Secretary Zhu Xiulin went to Hangzhou First Technical School, Hangzhou Desheng Kindergarten, Liangzhu Street, and other places to conduct seven "Goddess Legal Education" lectures with a total of more than 700 participants, and answered questions from the audience on site. Branch committee members Feng Li and Yan Wenjing conducted "Legal Escort for Sunset Red" public lectures and legal consultation activities for the elderly at several elderly care homes. General branch secretary Ye Qing and Feng Li also went to various primary and secondary schools to give lectures on "Stopping Campus Violence and Building a Harmonious Campus." In addition, the branch also established "Stopping Campus Violence" studios in several communities.

III. Branch members actively participate in various mediation and legal consultation activities to resolve civil disputes and promote social harmony and stability.

Branch members actively signed up for on-duty work at the Gongshu District People's Court of Hangzhou City, the Hangzhou City Gongshu District Labor Dispute Arbitration Committee, the Hangzhou City People's Mediation Center, the Hangzhou City and Gongshu District Letters and Visits Office, the Hangzhou City Detention Center, the Hangzhou City Women's Federation, and the Hangzhou City and Gongshu District Legal Aid Center. They also actively participate in the legal consultation activities at the Canal Culture Square on the 10th of each month and the 12345 Mayor's Hotline answering activities, using their professional knowledge to mediate and answer various disputes among the people, resolving civil disputes and promoting social harmony and stability.

IV. Party branch members pair up with impoverished students to carry out the "Gathering Love, Igniting Hope" loving-kindness assistance program.

Under the organization of Hangzhou Tianxin Law Firm, party branch members carry out the "Gathering Love, Igniting Hope" loving-kindness assistance program, conducting one-on-one assistance activities with impoverished students at Anyang Township Central Primary School in Chun'an County every year.
