Lawyers from Hangtianxin Law Firm went to the mountainous areas of Chun'an County to carry out a donation and scholarship activity.

Under the guidance of the Party branch and trade union of Zhejiang Hangtianxin Law Firm, Hangtianxin lawyers actively carry out charitable public welfare activities to assist students. On November 30, 2018, led by Yu Yuehai, director of Hangtianxin, Zhang Zhongyuan, chairman of the trade union, and Zhu Xiulin, deputy secretary of the Party branch, a group of Hangtianxin lawyers went to Anyang Township, Chun'an County to carry out donation and assistance activities, bringing loving greetings to the children of Anyang Township Central Primary School.

As soon as the Hangtianxin lawyers arrived at the school, they visited the school library under the arrangement of the school leaders. The library is clean, bright, and well-stocked with books. It is also equipped with comfortable tables and chairs, and tatami mats for younger children to read. According to the school leaders, the library is open to the whole school every day, and the books in the library can be borrowed. Students also have special reading classes where they can freely choose and read books.

Hangtianxin is also one of the donors of the library. This visit also brought a donation to expand the collection. Seeing that the library is so well-equipped, the lawyers from Hangtianxin are very pleased.

The donation and assistance activity was held in the school's meeting room. The school leaders first gave a brief explanation of the current situation of Anyang Township Central Primary School and introduced the family situations of 10 paired impoverished students. The children stood up one by one to introduce themselves and met the lawyers they were paired with. Then, Zhang Zhongyuan, chairman of the trade union, introduced the donation situation and said that donation and assistance is a long-standing public welfare project of our firm, and it will continue, encouraging more lawyers to participate, carry forward the spirit of dedication, and give back to society. Yu Yuehai, director of the law firm, said that he would care about the future growth of these children in their studies and lives, and do his best to help them grow into pillars of society.

The donation ceremony was then held on the playground in front of the teaching building. In the presence of both parties, Yu Yuehai, director of Hangtianxin, handed the donation to the school leaders. While expressing their gratitude, the school leaders promised that the donation would be used for its intended purpose, and that they would ensure that the kindness of Hangtianxin lawyers would be put into practice. They also encouraged the children to be grateful for the kindness shown and to study hard to repay society.

After the donation ceremony, the lawyers who participated in the assistance program interacted and communicated with the children they were paired with, understanding their difficulties in life and study, and encouraging them to be proactive, optimistic, and to pass on this love to society.

The Chun'an donation and assistance activity is a characteristic public welfare project of Zhejiang Hangtianxin Law Firm. Since 2010, a group of Hangtianxin lawyers have gone to the mountainous areas of Chun'an every year to pair up with impoverished primary school students in the local area.
