On the morning of August 6, 2017, at 9:30 AM, the Restructuring and Liquidation Committee of the Hangzhou Lawyers Association held its first "Young Bankruptcy Lawyer Growth Salon" at Zhejiang Hangtianxin Law Firm. Attending as mentors were Lu Liaofeng, Director of the Hangzhou Lawyers Association Restructuring and Liquidation Committee and senior partner of Zhejiang Tiance Law Firm; Zheng Jianfeng, Deputy Director of the Civil Business Professional Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Lawyers Association and Hangzhou Lawyers Association, and director of Zhejiang Haihao Law Firm; and Yu Yuehai, Deputy Director of the Construction Engineering Professional Committee of the Hangzhou Lawyers Association and director of Hangtianxin Law Firm. Wang Hongyao, senior partner of Hangtianxin and deputy director of the Hangzhou Lawyers Association Restructuring Committee, presided over the event. Over 60 young lawyers from Hangzhou participated in this activity.

At the beginning of the meeting, Yu Yuehai, director of the firm, warmly welcomed the lawyers who attended despite the heat. He pointed out that bankruptcy business involves more than a dozen professional fields, including bankruptcy law, civil and commercial law, criminal law, and litigation law. It is also a business that combines litigation and non-litigation, involving negotiation, discussion, and communication with multiple parties. This is very challenging for young lawyers. Due to their lack of professional experience and social experience, young lawyers engaged in bankruptcy business greatly benefit from salons like this to help them grow. Such activities organized by the Hangzhou Lawyers Association Restructuring Committee are very meaningful and necessary. It is hoped that they will continue to be held, training excellent bankruptcy administrators.

Subsequently, six young talents, including Wu Jun from King & Wood Mallesons, Wang Hengting from Sixing Law Firm, Zheng Wen from Beijing Gaopeng Hangzhou Branch, Wang Jianye from Jingheng Law Firm, Wang Yuqiu from K&L Gates, and Shi Xuewei from Hangtianxin, gave speeches and shared their experiences on relevant topics. This activity mainly analyzed the acceptance conditions and procedures of bankruptcy cases from the perspective of real estate companies, and in-depth discussions were held on the principles that bankruptcy administrators of real estate companies should follow when disposing of properties. In addition, participants discussed factors to be prioritized when disposing of assets of real estate companies, the validity of debt-for-property agreements, conflicts between engineering payment priority and purchasers' rights, and the calculation of the exclusion period for engineering retention funds. Speakers and attendees actively shared their case handling experiences, and the three mentors commented on the main speeches. The atmosphere was filled with intense academic exchange and practical discussion.

Finally, Director Lu Liaofeng gave a summary speech: The significance of this activity lies not only in helping young lawyers grow rapidly, but also in protecting them and preventing professional risks. Director Lu believes that bankruptcy business is a truly practical, composite business combining litigation and non-litigation. He actively encouraged young lawyers to seize opportunities and dare to break through. Deputy Director Zheng Jianfeng added: Young lawyers are the hope and successors of the legal profession. Young lawyers who are truly dedicated to bankruptcy work should seize every learning opportunity and accumulate experience. The three-hour salon concluded with exchanges and applause from all participants.
