On the afternoon of September 29, 2022, lawyer Yu Yuehai, director of our firm, was invited to give a legal training lecture on the "Zhejiang Provincial Public Data Regulations" (issued January 21, 2022; effective March 1, 2022) for the Gongshu District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. Members of the Bureau's Party leadership group and bureau-level and middle-level cadres (including vice-bureau-level cadres) participated in this training session.
In the lecture, Lawyer Yu Yuehai provided a clear and insightful analysis of the definition of public data, competent authorities, the collection and aggregation of public data, the establishment of data platforms, public data sharing, data security, and related legal liabilities. He also cited practical cases, making the lecture lively and engaging, and earning unanimous recognition and praise from attendees.
The "Zhejiang Provincial Public Data Regulations" is the first local regulation in China to focus on public data. It is also a local regulation formulated by Zhejiang Province to strengthen public data management, combining it with the province's specific circumstances. This training helps enhance staff's legal thinking on the standardized management of public data, strengthen their legal awareness of public data, and contribute to the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
