On the afternoon of July 20, 2022, I was invited to give a lecture at the first Party group theoretical center group expanded learning session and legal training activity held by the Gongshu District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. Members of the bureau's Party leadership group and bureau-level middle-level cadres (including vice-bureau-level) participated in this learning session.
The training focused on the "Civil Code of the People's Republic of China." The lecturer, Fang Nongsheng, introduced the nature and status of the Civil Code and interpreted key amended clauses based on common sense and legal practice. The lecture was lively and easy to understand, providing guidance for daily life and work, and received unanimous recognition and praise from the attendees.
The "Civil Code of the People's Republic of China" is the first law named as a code since the founding of the People's Republic of China. It holds a fundamental position in the legal system, serving as the basic law for the market economy, and is known as the "encyclopedia of social life." This legal training helps enhance the staff's legal thinking, strengthen their legal awareness, and improve their administrative law enforcement level, contributing to the building of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
