Hang Tianxin's lawyer, Zhou Fangyu, won the 2017 Hangzhou Lawyers Association Youth Committee "Public Welfare New Star" honorary title.

On the morning of April 21, 2018, the 2017 "Two Excellent and Two New" Evaluation Meeting of the Municipal Lawyers Association Youth League Committee was held in the Municipal Lawyers Association Conference Room. Sun Qingqing, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Municipal Justice Bureau; Liu Qingqing, Deputy Director of the Business Department of the Municipal Lawyers Association; Xia Jingjing and Li Yibu, Deputy Secretaries of the Municipal Lawyers Association Youth League Committee; and committee members Sun Libo, Shen Ying, Zhang Kuan, Zhou Zhiyang, Zhou Jianzhong, and Gong Jiayong attended the evaluation meeting and served as judges. More than 50 candidates, both individuals and groups, participated in the evaluation meeting. Zhou Fangyu, a lawyer from Hangzhou Hantianxin Law Firm, won the "Public Welfare Rising Star" honor.

The 2017 "Two Excellent and Two New" selection received an active response and strong support from the youth league branches of law firms throughout the city. After the preliminary evaluation, a total of 40 lawyers and 4 law firms were shortlisted for the final evaluation. The final evaluation adopted a three-minute timed speech format. The speaking order was determined by lottery draw by the individual and unit participants. Participants presented their personal achievements and youth league branch achievements one by one on stage in the order of "Business Rookie," "Public Welfare Rising Star," "Excellent Youth League Cadre," and "Excellent Youth League Branch." The final selection was made through anonymous voting by the judges.

Lawyer Zhou Fangyu currently serves as the deputy secretary-general of the Hangzhou Hantianxin Public Legal Service Center. She is responsible for the specific operation of the "Legal Escort for Sunset Red" project for the elderly, launched by the Hangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau. As an assisting lawyer, she has also handled 7 legal aid cases; 2018 in 3 she became the on-duty lawyer for the Daguanxi Yi Yuan Community in Gongshu District, providing legal services to community residents. Due to her outstanding performance in the field of public welfare law, she was awarded the 2017 annual "Public Welfare Rising Star" honorary title by the Hangzhou Lawyers Association. Lawyer Zhou believes that public welfare work needs a high profile, not to boast about oneself, but to encourage more people to participate, because everyone's participation is crucial to public welfare!

"Two Excellent and Two New" is a selection activity held by the Youth League Committee of the Municipal Lawyers Association to establish role models, commend advanced individuals, further stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of the youth league members in law firms throughout the city, and fully utilize the role of youth league organizations in promoting the development of the legal profession.
