Hangtianxin Law Firm Party Branch supports the successful holding of the Gongshu District Party Member Lawyer's Red Speech Contest

On the afternoon of June 27th, the "Communist Party Member Lawyer Red Speech Contest and Mutual Learning and Mutual Observation Party Building Competition" was grandly held at the Hangzhou Overseas Sea Crown Hotel International Conference Center. The event was hosted by the Communist Party Committee of the Hangzhou Gongshu District Justice Bureau, and undertaken by the Gongshu Branch of the Hangzhou Lawyers Association and the General Branch Committee of the Zhejiang Hangtianxin Law Firm's Communist Party. Attending and serving as judges were Wang Chengming, a member of the Gongshu District Organization Department's executive meeting; Lu Yihui, deputy secretary of the District Youth League Committee; Chen Bo, deputy director of the District Justice Bureau; Zhu Hong, president of the District Lawyers Association; Yu Yuehai, Li Yanshan, and Song Guiming, vice presidents; and others. Hu Ruijiang, secretary-general of the District Lawyers Association, served as the emcee. Our firm's lawyers Lu Haoting and Zhao Tonggang represented the firm in the speech contest.

Before the competition began, Deputy Director Chen Bo gave an opening speech. He stated that Party spirit is one of the fundamental qualities of a lawyer, and fulfilling social responsibilities is a mission bestowed by one's Party membership. He urged Party member lawyers to raise their political standing, strengthen their political awareness, improve their comprehensive qualities, uphold legal bottom lines, and promote industry development. Following this, 18 contestants, closely centered on the theme of "The Social Responsibility of Party Member Lawyers," combined their own experiences to expound on their thoughts and feelings about "Party member lawyers" from different perspectives, showcasing the spirit of Party member lawyers striving to be pioneers and bravely shouldering responsibilities. After intense competition, Chen Chen, lawyer of the Zhejiang Minhe Law Firm's Party branch, won first prize; Lu Haoting of Zhejiang Hangtianxin Law Firm's Party General Branch, and He Jianian of Zhejiang Xingtao Law Firm's Party branch won second prize; Jin Yanfen of Zhejiang Xinzhi Law Firm's Party branch, Wang Chao of Beijing Long'an (Hangzhou) Law Firm's Party branch, Liu Jiayin of Zhejiang Sandao Law Firm's Party branch, and Chen Ji of Zhejiang Houqi Law Firm's Party branch won third prize. Finally, President Zhu Hong summarized the competition. President Zhu believed that the speech contest is an important opportunity to showcase the image of lawyers and exercise their speaking abilities, and that Party spirit training is an indispensable part of a lawyer's growth. Everyone should not only attach importance to the cultivation of professional skills but also pay attention to the cultivation of Party spirit, striving to become an excellent Party member lawyer.
