A special research symposium on the participation of lawyers from Gongshu District in social grassroots governance was held at Hangzhou Tianxin Law Firm

On the morning of April 12, Li Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Gongshu District Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, visited Zhejiang Sandao Law Firm, Zhejiang Yinggao Law Firm, and Zhejiang Hangtianxin Law Firm in our district to conduct a special research on lawyers' participation in social grassroots governance, and held a symposium in the meeting room of Hangtianxin Law Firm. Wang Yiming, Deputy Secretary of the District Political and Legal Committee; Ge Tong, Director of the District Justice Bureau; Yang Xinwei, Director of the District Letters and Visits Bureau; Jin Chengwu, Deputy Director of the District Committee Office; Wang Bin, Vice President of the District Court; Tang Hua, Director of Hushu Street; Chen Xuyang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee; Zou Yan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Mishichang Street; and Qian Xianxin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xiahe Street accompanied the research and participated in the symposium.

Li Wei fully affirmed the achievements of each law firm in their practice, team building, and contributions to the creation of "Law-abiding Gongshu" and "Safe Gongshu." He believed that under the guidance of the District Justice Bureau, each law firm has a clear development positioning, established the working concept of "professionalism + Party building," and continuously explored new forms of resolving contradictions and disputes. Li Wei emphasized that in the next step, each law firm and lawyer should closely focus on the goal of building a "safe community along the Grand Canal," continue to give full play to the professional advantages of lawyer groups, actively participate in resolving contradictions and disputes, and work together to build a new grassroots social governance system that is full of vitality and efficiency. They should boldly explore and practice mechanisms that are more in line with the development of the industry and contribute to the creation of "Safe Gongshu" and "Law-abiding Gongshu."
