Warmly Welcoming the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China: Hangzhou Tianxin Party Branch's Zhoushan Red Journey

2022 Year 8 Month 21 Day, in the sweltering summer heat, the Party branch of Zhejiang Hangtianxin Law Firm organized the party members, prospective party members, and lawyers from various democratic parties within the firm to go to Zhoushan for a red tourism activity.

Our first stop was Xinjian Village in Dinghai District, Zhoushan, following in the footsteps of General Secretary Xi Jinping. Xinjian Village was originally a poor small village nestled in a mountain valley. 1999 Year, after Yu Jinhong was elected as the village committee director, she worked tirelessly, raised funds, and led the villagers to build a mountain road leading out of the village. After the road was built, to allow the villagers to live a prosperous life, Yu Jinhong boldly proposed the grand vision of creating "Nangdong Art Valley" and developing the rural cultural and leisure industry. 2010 Year, with a 230 meter-long green train "driving" into the island village from Jiayuguan thousands of miles away, Xinjian Village began to enter the public eye. This train, which once transported researchers involved in the development of "two bombs, one satellite", attracted a large number of tourists. Following this, the gradual construction of characteristic attractions such as the mural village and the Ming and Qing Dynasties ancient street completely revitalized this small mountain village and also spurred the development of tourism formats such as homestays and farmhouses. 2015 Year, during General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection and research in Xinjian Village, Dinghai District, Zhoushan, he made the important statement that "Building a beautiful China relies on building beautiful countryside as a foundation." Yu Jinhong, the Party branch secretary of Xinjian Village, who had been standing beside General Secretary Xi, kept this instruction firmly in mind, unswervingly practicing the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets," insisting on developing an ecological leisure economy, making every effort to write a good article on "lucid waters and lush mountains", and successfully leading Xinjian down a path of ecological enrichment.

Our second stop was the Zhoushan Opium War Memorial Hall. We reviewed that humiliating period of history. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: " 1840 After the Opium War of the year, China gradually became a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society, the country was humiliated, the people suffered, and civilization was tarnished. The Chinese nation suffered unprecedented calamities. From that time on, the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation became the greatest dream of the Chinese nation. After the founding of the Communist Party of China, it united and led the people in a continuous and tenacious struggle, transforming the poor and backward old China into a new China that is increasingly prosperous, and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation has shown unprecedented bright prospects." Reviewing history, we should cherish our lives today. The happy life we enjoy today is bought with the lives of revolutionary martyrs. Today, we must firmly remember the historical mission we shoulder. We need to pass on this revolutionary spirit from generation to generation. We firmly believe that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and with the efforts of the Chinese people, the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation will surely be realized.
